MACHINES:-

                A machines is a device which helps us to do the work more conveniently or used to speed up the work.
               All the modern machines are invented by modifying simple machines.
TYPES OF SIMPLE MACHINES:
               Some common types of simple machines are as under:

• lever
• pulley
• inclined plane
• wheel and axle
• screw jack
• screw   

                   HISTORY OF SIMPLE MACHINES:

PULLEY:

             The first pulley was invented by the people in Mesopotamia in 1500 BC.

LEVER:

             The first lever was invented during the stonage period.

INCLINED PLANE:

             No one invented the inclined plane.It is present in the nature.

SCREW JACK:

             Frank L. Gormley sr. invented the first screw jack.

SCREW:

             Nebuchadnezzar II invented the first screw.            

WHEEL AND AXLE:

               It is not known still that who created a wheel and axle.

HISTORY OF WASHING MACHINE:

              The first washing machine was invented by Alva J.Fisher and manufactured by the Hurley Machine Company.

                                               HISTORY OF CAR:
               The first car was invented by Karl Benz.
            
                                              HISTORY OF ROBOTS:
               The first robot was invented by George Devol in 1954.
